Dehulled Barley
Dehulled barley is manufactured from cleaned and wholesome Canadian barley. It is milled to remove only the outermost fibrous hull. The dark bran layer is preserved to keep the maximum nutritional value of the grain. It is considered a whole-grain product.

Pearl Barley
Unlike dehulled barley, pearl barley is not considered to be a whole grain because a polishing process is used to remove both the outer hull and the bran layer.

Pot Barley
Pot barley is an unprocessed whole grain from which only the outer hull has been removed (or polished), leaving the bran layer and kernel intact. Pot barley is used particularly in the brewing industry and in whisky production. This highly nutritious cereal contains many nutrients essential to a healthy diet. Our pot barley undergoes a cleaning process to remove the outer husk and any impurities. Our barley is rigorously selected and 100% Canadian.
